Hortilight uses high-quality LED diodes (such as TOP-bin components) and efficient drivers, resulting in a high light output per watt. Values around 2.7 μmol/J (depending on the model) provide a lot of usable PAR light at relatively low power consumption. This provides an immediate advantage in energy costs compared to traditional HPS or CFL systems, while plants benefit from a powerful and stable light level.

Passive cooling, quiet operation, and robust design
